    THE LORD'S HOPE CHURCH 




    The Lord's Hope Church is fulfilling each week a vital role in Bible-based preaching during these dark days here in Los Angeles. The English Ministry is a part of that, and I am thankful that the Lord has allowed me to pastor EM for the past five years. We have a regular weekly expository sermon that goes verse-by-verse through a book of the Bible. With the start of the Pandemic, those attending asked if we could go through the book of Revelation, which speaks of the judgments on this earth before the return of the Lord. We have now completed that, and are currently in I Corinthians, in which the Apostle Paul exhorts us as believers to not follow worldly practices, but rather practice the principles taught by our Lord Jesus Christ. We pray that you will join with us as we explore the timeless truths of the Word of God

    I graduated from The Master's University, hold a Master of Divinity and a Master of Theology degree from Biola University, and a doctorate from Faith Theological Seminary. I wrote a commentary on Hosea for Moody Press and have taught in seminaries both in Los Angeles and in Korea. My interest in world missions is expressed through two mission organizations: I am the Chairman of the Board of the India National Inland Mission (founded by Dr. Paul Pillai in 1964), and Vice President of the Independent Board for Presbyterian Foreign Missions (a mission founded by Dr. J. Gresham Machen in 1933).
